The Seanad has heard calls for a new site to be found to develop a major apprenticeship training centre in Roscommon. Galway and Roscommon Education and Training Board submitted their proposals last year, which involved workshops in a 22,000-square foot building.
But Fianna Fáil senator Eugene Murphy says he's concerned at reports the project has stalled. He says if there's an issue with the proposed site in Roscommon town, the problem should be overcome:
