The Taoiseach has been told in the Dáil that the physiotherapy service in St. Joseph's Care Centre in Longford must remain on the campus. Longford TD Micheál Carrigy told the Dáil yesterday that the service is at risk of closure due to the planned demolition of the current premises and the absence of an alternative location. The service is currently operating from a temporary location on site. The Fine Gael TD highlighted concerns that staff and services would be transferred to Athlone or Mullingar. He's called for the current or an alternative location to be allocated to the physiotherapy service on the St Joseph's Campus:
