The HSE is being urged to allow one of its disused buildings in Boyle to be used as a childcare centre. Renbrack House was a mental health hostel, but it closed several years ago.
The health service intends to get rid of the building as it's now surplus to requirements. Local Fianna Fáil councillor Seán Moylan says there's a clear need for the property in Boyle:
