A local election candidate has called for a purpose built dog park in Carrick on Shannon. Leslie O'Hora is a local Green Party Candidate in Carrick on Shannon.
He says apart from being a safe and sociable place to exercise your dog, it would provide another visitor attraction for the area. Speaking to Lets Talk earlier today, Leslie said there's many benefits to having a local dog park:
