The producers of popular television show DIY SOS are urging volunteers to come on board to help renovate the home of an Athlone firefighter.
Patrick Berry suffered extensive injuries when the gable wall of a house collapsed on top of him while attending a house fire in Mount Temple in October.
The RTE show which is hosted by Baz Ashmawy is now hoping to renovate Patrick's home in Athlone to make it suitable for his care needs.

It's hoped the work will begin on March 1st and be completed by March 10th.
