Submissions are now open for artists to produce a new sculpture to feature in a major town in the Shannonside region.
Roscommon County Council are seeking interested artists to design a sculptural artwork to be mounted on a polished concrete plinth for The Square in Roscommon Town
The council say the artwork should be a contemporary feature, drawing in passers-by and engaging them to explore Roscommon Town and its many assets.

The commission budget is €49,000 and the sculpture is part of the final elements of the Roscommon Town Main Street and Market Square Public Realm Project.
The deadline for submissions is 4pm on the 23rd of August.
