Call for clarity on long-promised domestic violence refuge in Leitrim

There are calls for urgent clarity on when Leitrim is getting a long-awaited domestic violence refuge.

It's one of nine counties in Ireland that doesn't have one.

The government promised to provide a refuge in Leitrim in 2022, as part of a crackdown on domestic violence.

Sinn Féin councillor Róisín Kenny, from Aughavas, wants to know when this will be delivered - as she says it's badly needed.
