A Roscommon councillor is calling for the Ballintober community to back one candidate to replace local man Anthony Waldron.
Now, there are two candidates from the village in the running - Michael Holland Senior and Gail Murray.
Roscommon councillors will decide next month who'll take Waldron's council seat, after he died in February.

Fianna Fáil councillor Sean Moylan says he'd like Ballintober to be united.
