Gardaí in Roscommon have penalised a bus driver found traveling significantly over the speed limit in the county this week.
Local Gardaí on patrol clocked the bus traveling over 100 kilometres an hour in an 80 kilometre zone in Castlerea.
According to Gardaí the driving conditions at the time were treacherous due to wet roads.

The driver of the vehicle was issued a Fixed Charge Penalty Notice and will face penalty points on their license.
