The Criminal Assets Bureau is conducting a number of searches in County Longford this morning.
The raids on several different properties began at around 7am.
The searches were assisted by local officers, with investigations ongoing at one property in a housing estate in the town, as well as a number of other addresses outside of Longford town.

It's believed vehicles and sums of cash have been seized in the raids.
It's not yet clear if any arrests have been made with searches still ongoing.
