A local councillor says the closure of Ballintubber Post Office is a major setback for the village.
Popular postmistress Mary Lennon shut her door for the final time after 20 years' service last Friday.
The service was offered to other retailers in the area but a new location couldnt be found.

It means Ballintubber now has no post office for the first time in around a century.
