St Nathy's Cathedral in Ballaghaderreen has been targeted by vandals

Ballaghaderreen's Michael Scally was one of the speakers at the rally, which was held after several burglaries in the county recently.

Ballaghaderreen Parish has spent €50,000 on installing CCTV in St Nathy's Cathedral because of repeated vandalism.

At a crime protest in Castlerea heard yesterday, it was revealed they were put in place last week.

Ballaghaderreen's Michael Scally was one of the speakers at the rally, which was held after several burglaries in the county recently.

He says he has been speaking to the administrator of Ballaghaderreen Parish, Fr Paul Kivlehan, about the issue.
