Aurivo shareholders are meeting in Sligo and Letterkenny today as uncertainty remains over the potential impact a proposed merger with Dale Farm Co-Op could have locally.
The proposal, under which Aurivo would hold a minority interest, would mean the relocation of Aurivo headquarters in Sligo to Belfast.
Aurivo specialises in the production of liquid milk, powders and butter and has a state-of-the-art production factory in Ballaghaderreen.
It also has Homeland stores in Ballaghaderreen, Boyle, Athleague, Castlerea, Mohill, Longford, and Kiltoghert outside Carrick-on-Shannon.
