Athlone Gardai investing theft of jewelry from house

Gardai in Athlone are investigating a burglary at house in the town on Thursday afternoon.

A house was broken into on the Retreat Road and a large quantity of jewelry was taken.

Gardai are appealing to anyone who may have noticed anything suspicious in the area between 1pm and 6.30pm on Thursday afternoon to contact them.
