A man in his 30s has been arrested in Athlone following the seizure of over €7,000 worth of drugs.
Local Gardaí acting on foot of a warrant searched a house in the town yesterday.
A mixture of cocaine, cannabis and ecstasy worth €7,000 was recovered from the property during the search.

The man is currently undergoing questioning in Garda custody, with investigations into the seizure continuing.
