Appeal made for information on stolen caravan from Roscommon

A Roscommon woman is urging the public to to keep their eyes open in the search for a caravan stolen from her property during the week.

The 06 registered Bailey caravan was taken from the Elphin area in the early hours of Monday morning.

Castlerea Gardaí investigating the theft have tracked the vehicle across the midlands using CCTV recordings from towns and villages across the region.

The Caravan was last spotted being towed past Mullingar at 4am on Monday by a dark coloured saloon car.

The family had purchased the caravan three weeks previously to take a holiday with their four young children.
