Separately, on April 26th, a man in his thirties reported the overnight theft of a red Honda 500 quad bike from his farmyard at Carnalasson, near Four Mile House.
Gardaí say the vehicle was taken under cover of darkness, with no immediate witnesses.
While a man in his early fifties discovered his quad bike had been taken from a shed on his property Cloonadra, Ballyleague.
The theft is believed to have occurred sometime between 7pm on Saturday, May 2nd, and 10am the following morning.
The quad is described as an English-registered 400cc Polaris Explorer, black and multi-coloured in appearance.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have noticed unusual or suspicious activity in the Ballyleague or Four Mile House areas on the dates in question to come forward.
