An Coimisiún Pleanála grants planning for two wind turbines in Roscommon

An Coimisiún Pleanála has granted planning permission for two wind turbines in Co Roscommon.

Peter Gillooly applied to build them in the Derrane and Roxborough areas.

But Roscommon County Council turned the application down in January 2024.

But An Coimisiún Pleanála has overturned their decision.

They've given the project the go-ahead, subject to nine conditions.
