6,797 Ukrainian pupils have been enrolled in schools across Ireland.
There are 477 Ukrainian pupils attending schools across the Shannonside Northern Sound region so far.
Over two thirds of all children are attending primary schools.
Regional Education and Language Teams around the country are helping students settle in to their new surroundings.
In the Northern Sound region:
Cavan has 112 pupils in primary schools and 53 in post primary.
While Monaghan has the lowest pupils enrolled in the country at 14 in primary and 7 in post primary.
In the Shannonside region the number of pupils from the warn torn country stands at 117 primary and 30 in post primary schools across Leitrim.
Longford has 29 students in primary and 12 in post primary.
Roscommon has accommodated 92 children in primary schools and 11 in post primary.
