Almost €6 million euro for 23 new houses at Farnagh Hill Longford

Multi-million euro funding has been approved for over twenty new homes in Longford.

Over €5.6m is to be spent for 23 new houses at Alder Field, Farnagh Hill in Longford Town, for families on Longford's Social Housing waiting list.

The development will comprise twenty 3-bed, 2 storey houses and three 2-bed, single storey houses.

This new approval for 23 homes is in addition to 24 homes recently completed at this location, 8 of which are specifically for older persons.

Peter Burke T.D., Minister of State with responsibility for Local Government and Planning has welcomed the funding.
