Almost 360,000 euro worth of drugs has been seized in Athlone.
Revenue officers examining parcels at a premises in the town made the discovery of 18kg of herbal cannabis earlier today.
The illegal drugs were discovered in two parcels which had originated in Spain and Italy.

It's understood the parcels were destined for addresses in Dublin and Louth.
Investigations are ongoing.
