A total of 47 complaints were made against lawyers in Co Leitrim last year - an increase of 47 per cent on the previous year.
It was the seventh highest in Ireland last year - despite the fact the county is the least populated.
According to the Legal Services Regulatory Authority's annual report, it compares to eight in Roscommon and six in Longford.

Just under 1,300 complaints were made nationwide - with 233 featuring an allegation of misconduct.
