Planning permission is being sought for an extension to a supermarket in County Leitrim.
Aldi Stores have lodged an application with Leitrim planners to construct a single storey Deposit Return Scheme Kiosk in Carrick on Shannon.
The kiosk aims to encourage people to recycle drink containers by giving customers money back when they return containers to the retailer.

Also included in the application is the branding of the side elevations of the DRS Kiosk.
Leitrim County Council will decide on the application in May.
