It's expected a new affordable housing development in Longford Town will be opened in mid 2027. The 25 home development was officially launched earlier today at Ard Michael on the Ballinalee Road.
The price of the new homes are set to range from around €228,220 for a 2-bed terrace to €308, 759 for a 3-bed semi detached house. These figures could be even less when you factor in the Help to Buy Scheme. Director of Services at Longford County Council, Samantha Healy says there's already a big demand for the new homes:
