Tributes are being paid to a highly respected Roscommon businessman who died in a tragic accident yesterday evening.
Pat McCrann was working on the family farm in Sheepwalk, Frenchpark, when a tyre exploded, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
A post mortem examination is due to take place tomorrow in Galway University Hospital and the coroner has been notified.

Local Fine Gael councillor Liam Callaghan says the 50-year-old ran a successful tyre business, called Pat McCrann Tyres, in Frenchpark.
