A cyclist has died in a road crash in Co Cork.
The man in his 40s was hit by a car at Meadstown in Kildorrey at around 20 past 6 yesterday evening.
He received treatment at the scene but was later pronounced dead.

His body was brought to Cork University Hospital, where a post mortem exam will take place.
The scene remains closed this morning to allow for a technical examination, and Gardaí are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
