A major power outage has been reported in the Clondra area of Longford this afternoon.
Over 500 customers are without electricity after the fault was reported just before 4.30pm.
It's understood significant traffic disruption has been reported on the N5 at Tarmonbarry on the Roscommon-Longford border as a result of the fault.

According to the ESB, power will be restored by 8pm.
