2 drivers in Roscommon arrested for drug driving

2 drivers have been arrested in Roscommon following a number of traffic offences.

Gardaí in Roscommon conducted a checkpoint in the county in recent days.

A motorist who was stopped at the checkpoint was found to have no insurance and also tested positive for cannabis at the roadside.

The driver was arrested and their car was seized.

They will face a court date in the near future.

Meanwhile another motorist was stopped in Roscommon Town whilst driving erratically.

They tested positive for cocaine and were also placed under arrest.
