A total of 163 cases of Covid were recorded in the Shannonside Northern Sound region in the last two weeks.
Data from the Health Protection and Surveillance Centre reveals that 66 cases were recorded in Roscommon between the 8th of June and the 21st of this month.
47 cases were confirmed in Cavan, 19 in Longford and 14 in Leitrim.

During the same period, a total of 115 cases were detected in Westmeath - resulting in the third highest incidence rate of the virus in the country .
