There are over 12 times as many short-term lets in Co Leitrim than for long-term rental use.
Threshold found 87 are available on Airbnb in the county - but just seven are available to rent on Daft.ie.
The ratio isn't as bad in the other Shannonside counties - at 3 to 1 in Roscommon, and 1.2 to 1 in Longford.

Threshold says nationally there are over 8,600 short-term lets on Airbnb compared to 2,100 homes available to rent this month.
