The findings of a review of the garda investigation into the suspicious death of Leitrim man Liam Farrell will be revealed later this week.
The 87-year-old was found dead outside his house in Rooskey in January 2020, and his family believes he was attacked. Last September Garda Commissioner Drew Harris ordered a review of the investigation. The Farrell family is meeting Detective Inspector Ray Mulderrig in Carrick-on-Shannon garda station on Friday to discuss the outcome.
