LISTEN: Longford jewellers to close down after 47 years

One of Longford town’s longest running businesses is closing after almost half a century.

Donal Dobson’s Jewellers in Dublin Street has been in operation since 1977, but it will close for good on Saturday.

Donal runs the store with his wife, Helena.

Our reporter Eoghan Murphy has been speaking to Donal, who first told him how the business has changed since he opened 47 years ago.
