LISTEN: Focus on Strokestown Agricultural Show as over 3,000 attend

Over 3,000 people attended the Strokestown Agricultural and Industrial Show in Co Roscommon on Saturday.

The 156th edition of the event was held in mainly dry conditions in Strokestown Park.

There was family entertainment, live music from Robert Mizzell, along with traditional agricultural competitions.

Our reporter, Eoghan Murphy, attended the event and first spoke to Jim Harrison, the national president of the Irish Shows Association.
