The Irish Road Hauliers Association is calling for a more serious response, as many lorry drivers risk being stranded in the UK over the festive period.

The project will go to planning next year and it's hoped it will be complete by around 2030.

The finding comes from a recent report compiled by the European Commission, which showed that 18-24 year-olds in Ireland tend to rank their knowledge as 'basic.'
