The Dublin native, who lived in Mohill, was found dead on the outskirts of Boyle today and the search has been stood down.

Gardai have confirmed a body has been found in the search today, but it has not yet been identified. 

There have been no court sittings in the historic building for over two years, because it's in poor condition.

Searches are also taking place in Dromod, Rooskey, Cootehall and Knockvicar.

David O'Callaghan, 21, was last seen in Boyle last Saturday evening around 5pm.

21-year-old David O'Callaghan was last seen in Boyle on the 9th of August.
