Westmeath County Planners have approved the application with 11 conditions attached.

Sources say foul play cannot be ruled out.

The general election is less than two weeks away.

Three fire brigades are at the scene, while gardai are also there. 

There are 16 declared candidates so far – four in Leitrim and 12 in Sligo.

It will be known as King and Moffatt Dr Hyde Park for the next five years.
