Michael John Canning passed away on Thursday, 22nd February, peacefully at St James's Hospital, Dublin, surrounded by his family.

Predeceased by his parents, Peter and Rose Anne.

Sadly missed by his brothers and sisters, Peter (Portmarnock, Co Dublin), Nuala (Surrey, England), Rose Anne (Florida, USA) and Tony (Castlefin, Co Donegal). Deeply regretted by his brothers in law, sister in law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives and friends.

May his gentle soul rest in peace.

Reposing at St Patrick's hospital mortuary Carrick -on -Shannon Co. Leitrim on Wednesday 28th February from 5pm to 6 pm with removal to St Patrick's church Mohill, Co. Leitrim to arrive for 7pm . Funeral Mass in St. Patrick’s Church, Mohill, on Thursday 29th February at 11am, followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
