Kathleen (Kitty) Conway (née Dowd)  died on Thursday, 11th January 2024, peacefully in her 97th year.

In the care of the wonderful staff at The Regional Hospital, Tullamore.

Predeceased by husband Peter, parents John and Mary Ann Dowd, her brothers; John, Tommy, Seamus and Denis, sisters; Mary (Aherne) and Peggy (McMonagle), nieces and nephews.

Her nieces, nephews, grandnephews and grandnieces, great-grandnephews, great-grandnieces, relatives, very good neighbours and friends, will sadly miss and remember Kitty.

Reposing at Kelly’s Funeral Directors, Athlone Road, Longford (N39 K381) this Tuesday 16th from 4:00pm concluding with prayers at  5.20pm, followed by removal to St. Mel’s Cathedral, Longford arriving at 6pm. Funeral Mass at 11 o’clock on Wednesday 17th, followed by Burial in Ballymacormack Cemetery.

Condolences to all the family on Kitty's passing. Always remembered as such a lovely lady- in the cinema days too❤️ May she rest in peace 🌹
