Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a fatal collision in Co. Longford yesterday evening.
The incident occurred on the Longford Town side of the N4 after the Maria Edgeworth roundabout in Edgeworthstown at 7pm.
It involved two cars and a van.

The driver of one of the cars, a man aged in his 30s, was pronounced dead, while another man, also in his thirties, has been taken to hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
No other injuries have been reported.
The road was closed overnight but has since reopened.

Gardaí have said investigations are ongoing.
They are appealing to any witnesses of the collision or those with camera footage, including dash-cam, to contact them.
