Wexford v Longford Town Postponed

Longford Town’s meeting with Wexford on Friday evening has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

The FAI said in a statement;

“Following a pitch inspection this evening, the SSE Airtricity Men's First Division fixture scheduled for Friday, 23rd February between Wexford and Longford Town at Ferrycarrig Park has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

We will communicate information of a rescheduled date in due course”.

Longford opened their first division campaign with defeat to Finn Harps last weekend while Wexford lost out to Athlone Town.
