Kellie Harrington has become Ireland's latest medal winner at the Tokyo Olympics. The Dublin boxer is assured of at least bronze after booking her place in the women's lightweight semi-finals. Harrington, the number one seed in her division, had a unanimous points victory against Imane Kelif of Algeria this morning. She can now look forward to a repeat bout of the 2018 world final against Sudaporn Seesondee in the semis. It now makes it four medals for team Ireland after Aidan Walsh also claimed bronze in the ring, but was unable to compete for silver after he picked up an ankle injury while gold was taken by the rowers Paul O'Donovan and Fintan Mc Carthy.
