St. Joseph's (Kilteevan) and St. Patrick's Dromahair suffer heavy defeats

St. Joseph’s (Kilteevan) and St. Patrick's Dromahair both had a day to forget in the Connacht club football championship.

St. Joseph’s (Kilteevan) suffered a crushing defeat in the AIB Connacht JFC semi-finals losing 4-17 to 0-3 to St. Patrick’s at Markievicz Park.

Jim Davis, Padraic Clarke, Pierce Kearins and James Clarke scored a goal each as the Sligo junior champions ran out 26-point winners.

St. Patrick's Dromahair suffered the same fate in the Connacht IFC quarter-finals losing 2-13 to 0-5 to Naomh Anna, Leitir Mor.
