The Leinster Out half has suffered a number of head injuries both with Ireland and his province

Johnny Sexton has been ruled out for Leinster in their Heineken Champions cup semi final against La Rochelle this Sunday. The Out half, was withdrawn from their quarter final victory over Exeter Chiefs to undergo a Head Injury assessment, and continues to be assessed from that, having missed out in last weekends Rainbow cup loss to Munster.

A injury updated from Leinster this afternoon confirmed his unavailability , but that

he will continue to train and be assessed as part of the Graduated Return to Play process.

Caelan Doris, Jamison Gibson Park and Harry Byrne also remain injury doubts ahead of the weekend clash with Ronan O'Gara's French side.
