Leitrim will meet Sligo, Longford face Meath in Leinster

Roscommon will face New York or Mayo in the 2024 Connacht semi-final.

The draw was made this afternoon for 2024 provincial championships with Leitrim travelling to Sligo in the Connacht quarter-final.

Whereas, Mayo’s trip to New York was already predetermined as was defending champions Galway’s trip to London.

Mewanwhile, the winner of the game in Ruislip will face the winner of Sligo and Leitrim in their semi-final.

Roscommon are set for a trip to McHale park for their Connacht championship semi-final, once Mayo overcome New York. New York recorded a first ever championship win in 2023, beating Leitrim on penalities.

Leinster Championship

Meanwhile, All-Ireland champions Dublin will face Longford or Meath in the Leinster quarter-final. Longford will host Meath in the first round.

The other quarter-finals will see Kildare meet Westmeath or Wicklow and Louth face Carlow or Wexford. Offaly will meet Laois.

Ulster Championship

Meanwhile, Monaghan and Cavan will meet in the Ulster preliminary round.

The two sides were the first two names from the hat. The last time the sides met in the championship was 2020, when Cavan went onto win the Ulster title.

The winner of the game will face Tyrone in the Ulster quarter-final. The remaining three games will see Down face Antrim, Fermanagh meet Armagh and defending champions Derry face Donegal.

Meanwhile, defending Munster champions Kerry will meet the winners of Limerick or Cork. While, last year’s runner-up Clare will meet Tipperary or Waterford.

The championships will follow the same format as 2023 with 16 taking part in the All-Ireland championship group stage (Sam Maguire).

These are made up of the top eight teams in the Allianz League and the four provincial championship finalists. Meath are guaranteed a spot in the All-Ireland group stage as defending Tailteann cup winners.

Whereas, the remaining 17 teams will take part in the Tailteann Cup.
