A goal in each half from Joe Murray and James McNaBola proved decisive as Leitrim finished with six points to spare.

Elsewhere, the Longford hurlers suffered a second straight defeat in the Kehoe shield.

The Midlanders lost 2-23 to 13 points to Louth at Darver.
