Roscommon boxer Lisa O’Rourke has won a gold medal at the European U-22 Boxing Championships.
The middleweight defeated her Polish opponent on a split decision this afternoon.
O’Rourke, who is a younger sister of Tokyo Olympian and European champion Aoife, is also co-captain of the Irish team fighting this week at the championships being hosted in Croatia.
