Ben O’Carroll rattled in a goal on the 14th minute, moments after Sean Galvan had found the Roscommon net.

Paddy O’Connor converted a penalty four minutes before the break to make as it stood 2-9 to 1-9 to Sligo’s favour at half-time.

Sligo made a raft of changes at half-time, but Cian Lally and Paul McNamara added scores. Ben O’Carroll and Adam McDermott also sent over points with Sligo leading 2-11 to 1-11 after 44 minutes.

Two Carey points (1 free) and one from Adam McDermott had the sides level on 49 minutes. Murtagh put Roscommon in front and Keith Doyle found Roscommon’s second goal to move them ahead.

Bran Stack received a black card but Tadgh Kennelly added a mark with three minutes before Doyle found the net once more to seal Roscommon’s place in the final.

Roscommon will face Galway or Mayo in the final next Friday in the Connacht GAA Air Dome.
