4 teams from the region will compete at the senior and intermediate grades this weekend

The Connacht Club championship is entering the last 4 this weekend with the intermediate and senior semi finals. Their is plenty of Shannonside interest in the fixtures as fresh from their win over St Kierans in London, Leitrim champions St Mary's Kiltoghert will face regular provincial competitors Tourlestrand who claimed a 7th consecutive county title in Sligo. That fixture throws in at Aavant Money Paric Sean Mac Diarmada on Saturday afternoon at 1:30. The other semi final will see Roscommon champions Strokestown travel to Tuam Stadium on Sunday at 1:30 to take on Moycullen who were very impressive in their quarter final win over Westport last weekend. In the intermediate championship it is Shannonside derby on Sunday in Carrick on Shannon as St Dominics of Roscommon go up against Aughnasheelin, that fixture scheduled for a 1:30pm throw in with the other last 4 meeting between Ballyhaunis and Dummore Mac Hales on Saturday afternoon in Mac Hale park at 3pm.
