Everton star Heather Payne included in Ireland squad for nations league games

Peamount United teenager Ellen Dolan has been called-up to the Ireland Women's squad for Nations League games against Hungary and Northern Ireland.

17-year-old Dolan scored seven goals for the Premier Division champions and won the player of the month award for October/November.

Interim Head Coach Eileen Gleeson has picked 26 players for the two games. While, Ireland host Hungary in Tallaght Stadium on Friday, December 1. Then face Northern Ireland in the National Stadium, Belfast on Tuesday, December 5.

Both Jessie Stapleton and Ruesha Littlejohn return to the squad. However, a number of players weren’t included due to return to play procedures at their respective clubs following long-term injuries.

Ireland have already secured top spot in Group B1, which triggers promotion to League A in the Nations League. Whereas, they're keen to end the campaign with six wins following victories over Northern Ireland, Hungary and Albania (twice).

Whereas, The players will report into camp on Monday, November 27 and begin preparations for the two games at the FAI National Training Centre.
