With the night navigation season now complete the national and border champions have been confirmed On the national front the Monaghan and midlands pairing of Ryan Treanor and Shane Dalton have been crowned champions with Evin Hughes and Packie Duffy the runners. Patrick Cororan and Andy Mackeral completed the top 3. Susan Smyth and Brian Duggan topped the beginners class, with Gretchen and Martin Swinburne winners of the novice section. Ruaidhri Nash and Ray O'Neill took the semi expert win while Greg Shinnors and Patsy Mc Donagh topped the expert class.
In the Squealing pig Border championship, Evin Hughes and Packie Duffy completed a success year for themselves by taking the overall win ahead of Aaron Mc Elroy and Delcan Tynan with David Mc Crudden and Martin Tynan completing the top 3. Darren Lavery and Aaron Mc Gorman were the winners of the novice class with Ciaran Magurie and Micky Mc Neillis topping the semi expert section. Greg Shinnors and Andy Mackeral took the expert honours.
Prize giving for the National championship will take place on Saturday May 17th while a date for the Border championship prize giving will be confirmed shortly.
